Sheet Metal Worker-Welder

Do you have experience in sheet metal welding and the ability to work independently from drawings? We are looking for a skilled and motivated sheet metal welder for a metal-industry company located in Pori! Our client is a long-established Finnish machine shop that manufactures various steel structures and metal-industry solutions for construction and industrial needs, among others. Its operations combine versatile machine-shop expertise, modern machinery and high-quality work. What does the work involve? Your duties consist of varied sheet metal welding work, including manufacturing different metal structures and assemblies according to drawings. The main material is mild steel, with thicknesses ranging from 3 to 25 mm. Accuracy, careful workmanship and the ability to work independently are particularly important. What do we expect from you? - Previous experience in sheet metal welding and strong MIG/MAG skills - Excellent drawing-reading skills and the ability to work according to drawings - Current welding qualifications suitable for the work (135 and 136) - An independent and careful approach to work - Proficiency in Finnish or English - Valid occupational safety and hot work cards We particularly value versatile metalworking expertise, precise workmanship and a genuine interest in your profession and developing your skills. What we offer: - The opportunity to use and develop your skills - Varied, long-term work in the metal industry - Pay of approximately €14–17 per hour, depending on your skills and experience - Regular day-shift work The employment relationship starts as agency work through WorkPower, after which the intention is to transfer you to the client company's own payroll.
