Would you like to help transform the higher education sector and the learning experience of digital services? We are seeking a Release and Testing Manager for a new key role to ensure the overall coordination of our services’ releases, deployments and quality assurance. You will ensure that services, integrations and data flows move into production in a controlled, high-quality manner that supports business requirements. Your work will focus on developing testing strategies, quality assurance practices and release processes. You will coordinate regression, integration, system and performance testing and ensure the high quality of integrations, interfaces and data flows throughout their lifecycle. You will also assess release-related risks, guide change management and ensure the smooth execution of production releases. You will work closely with architects, development teams, service operations, suppliers and customers. You will actively develop testing, quality management and release processes and identify new opportunities to improve quality and efficiency and make use of automation. The role combines practical coordination, oversight of the overall picture and continuous development of ways of working. To succeed in the role, you have experience in: - Software, integration-service or digital-service release and deployment activities. - Leading testing and quality assurance, and developing testing processes. - CI/CD solutions, DevOps practices and test automation. - Release, change and incident-management processes and service-management practices. We value practical experience testing API and integration solutions. You can understand large-scale entities and work effectively with technical and business stakeholders. You are development-oriented, solution-focused and committed to continuous improvement. You have excellent communication and collaboration skills in Finnish and English; Swedish is considered an advantage. Responsibilities

  • Experience with release, change and incident management and service-management practices
  • Practical API and integration testing experience is valued
  • Ability to understand complex systems and work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
  • Development-oriented, solution-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Excellent Finnish and English communication and collaboration skills
  • Swedish is an advantage
