Project Manager

Telog Oy is a nationwide project manager for telecommunications network and energy transmission projects, offering a turnkey service to customers. We are hiring for Telog Tampere or Seinäjoki offices: PROJECT MANAGER, ELECTRICAL NETWORK CONSTRUCTION. You will act as the project manager ensuring the quality and cost-efficient delivery of electrical network construction projects in close cooperation with project management, designers and our partners. Your duties include contract negotiations, project leadership, contractor meetings, material orders and other procurements, daily collaboration with various parties, and corrective actions when needed. You will report on project progress to both management and the client. Your workplace can be either at the Tampere or Seinäjoki office. The role is such that some tasks can be done remotely and it requires travel to work sites. You are determined, flexible to meet targets, service-minded and cooperative with our clients, helping them develop their business. You master broad responsibilities and are a strong problem-solver. You are self-directed, take initiative and responsibility. You seek new and more efficient ways of working and are interested in new technologies. Success in the role requires suitable technical education (e.g. electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, master's degree) and experience with electrical network construction or cable duct networks, tender calculation and procurement, with production-economy-level understanding of costs, schedules and quality, plus strong communication and negotiation skills and strong IT skills (Excel, knowledge of planning systems Fieldsight, Trimble NIS is a plus).
