We are seeking a Safety Engineer for Coresbond in Tampere. The role involves machine safety and functional safety within product development and industrial projects, working as part of an international development initiative. The position is full-time and permanent, based in Tampere with a preference for on-site collaboration with clients. Responsibilities include identifying and documenting functional safety and machine safety requirements, verification and validation of safety functions, risk assessments, and cross-disciplinary collaboration with software, electrical, automation and mechanical designers. Qualifications include a suitable technical degree in mechanical, automation or electrical engineering and/or relevant work experience, strong Finnish and English language skills, and the ability to facilitate discussions and communicate technical requirements clearly to stakeholders.

- Participation in control system modernization and product development projects
- Identify, define, document and manage functional safety and machine safety requirements
- Verification and validation of safety functions
- Design, conduct and facilitate risk assessments
- Identify and review safety requirements with various stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with software, electrical, automation and mechanical designers
- Review safety-related solutions with experts
- Develop functional and machine safety as part of client projects
Requirements
- A suitable technical education in mechanical, automation or electrical engineering or relevant work experience
- Excellent Finnish and English language skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with specialists from different engineering disciplines
- Autonomous and proactive working style
- Ability to facilitate discussions and communicate technical requirements clearly to various stakeholders
