Legal Counsel

We are seeking a Corporate Law specialist to join Greenstep’s Legal team in Espoo. The role focuses on company and contract law, as well as corporate and ownership restructurings for client assignments. You will be part of a growing and developing Legal team that currently includes 14 law and tax service specialists in Finland and Sweden. You will collaborate across the organization, including with our Finance and HR specialists. The position offers opportunities to develop through a broad and varied set of client projects, and may include internal corporate legal assignments. You will support clients in a wide range of corporate and contract-law matters, participate in corporate and ownership restructurings as part of the expert team, and act as a legal advisor to clients’ business operations. Clients come from various industries, from startups to listed companies, at different stages of their life cycle, providing diversity in the work. In the last few years the team has handled assignments relating to business acquisitions, share issues, mergers, financing, large contract portfolios, IP rights, municipal needs, and labor law. The team largely operates from our Espoo office but with a hybrid model, spending at least half of the time in the office. Work is done with independence, but with collaborative sparring. We expect you to maintain orderly and solution-oriented work, to enjoy the variety of the role, and to actively take on different assignments with an open mind. You will have a strong drive to create added value for clients and support the growth of Greenstep’s present and future client base. Sales-oriented mindset and ability to identify new business opportunities are seen as a plus.
