Fondis Brasserie & Bar is looking for a Cook to strengthen its kitchen team! We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated chef to join our busy restaurant environment. The role offers a minimum of 45 hours per three-week period, and the contract will be valid at least until the end of 2026. The right candidate will have the opportunity to continue beyond this period, and additional hours will be available during the summer season. In this role, you will work in both the lunch and à la carte kitchens, gaining experience in a variety of kitchen operations. We hope you can work independently and take responsibility for your own workstation, even during busy service periods. Your responsibilities will include: preparing and presenting lunch dishes; preparing and finishing à la carte meals; handling ingredients and mise en place tasks; maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring compliance with food safety procedures; collaborating smoothly with other kitchen and restaurant staff. What we expect from you: previous experience as a chef in a Finnish kitchen environment; ability to work independently in both lunch and à la carte service; flexibility to work morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends; a positive attitude and the ability to perform well under pressure; a Hygienic Passport and proof of suitability for food handling work. The working language can be Finnish, English, or Swedish.
