Cook for a lunch restaurant

Cafe 75 is looking for a skilled cook to join its team! Cafe 75 is a welcoming lunch restaurant alongside K-Rauta 75 in Hakkila. We serve our customers tasty, high-quality, home-style lunches and café products. We are looking for a cook for a permanent position. You will have the opportunity to take part in the restaurant’s varied daily operations and the preparation of lunch dishes. Your duties include, among other things: - Preparing lunch dishes - Preparations and daily kitchen tasks - Setting up and maintaining the buffet - Keeping the kitchen clean and carrying out self-monitoring - Receiving and handling ingredients - Working with the rest of the restaurant team - Contributing to menu planning - Working at the till - Placing orders We expect you to have: - Cook training and/or previous experience as a cook - Good Finnish language skills - A proactive and energetic approach to work - The ability to work independently and as part of a team - A hygiene passport - An interest in preparing high-quality lunch food Previous experience in a lunch restaurant is an advantage, but a good attitude and a desire to make good food are most important to us. We offer you: - Permanent employment - Mainly daytime work on weekdays - Weekends off - A pleasant and functional working environment - The opportunity to influence the kitchen’s operations and menu Working hours are mainly from Monday to Friday during the day, between 6:00 and 15:00. The work starts by agreement as soon as possible.
