The role involves planning, developing and delivering teaching with a psychological perspective to support police work at all degree levels, in continuing education and in paid service business. You will also supervise methodological and content-related aspects of research and development projects and theses. You may participate in RDI activities and student admissions and their development. The core areas include interaction, police work well-being, mental health disorders, stress management, professional ethics, crisis and trauma psychology, and participation in exercises. The duties of Police University College instructors are defined in the Police University College Act (282/2014) section 23, including developing education, participating in curricula design and admissions, performing research and development tasks as ordered, participating in training to maintain and develop professional skills, and other duties. The position is located in the Common Competence unit of the Police University College, which covers law, functioning and general leadership, interaction and practice.
