Electrical Engineer

The business is expanding and we are strengthening our electrical and automation design department in Tampere. We are looking for experienced electrical systems designers with a good attitude and motivation for work, passionate about designing and developing industrial machines and equipment, especially mobile machinery. The work location will be Tampere. If you have an appropriate engineering or master’s degree and are ready to join us, take the challenge! We value industrial work experience and prior design experience with wheeled or rail-bound mobile equipment and machines for at least 3–5 years. Prior experience in vehicle technology is an advantage. Success in the role requires good communication skills, a customer-oriented service mindset, flexibility required by project work, and strong technical know-how. Depending on your background and interest, opportunities include several electrical design areas: mobile equipment and industrial machines’ electrical system and harness design and modelling; electrical power transmission design for work machines (battery technologies, electrical drive, power electronics sizing and specifications); functional safety verification, specifications and analyses for safety features; and design and system testing of equipment assemblies under development in product development. Experience with at least one database-based design tool such as E3 or Eplan Electric P8 is considered an asset, but the key is the willingness and ability to learn new tools and methods.
