Restaurant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and development-oriented restaurant manager for Kajaani in a permanent position. The role entails overall responsibility for the daily operations and also shaping the future direction of the business. You should enjoy leading people, understand the importance of profitable restaurant operations, and actively seize new opportunities. You will work closely with the owners and participate in developing service, sales, marketing, and the entire restaurant concept. Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, scheduling, coaching and onboarding staff, supporting the team in various situations, monitoring service quality, and collaborating with the kitchen on menu development and operating practices. You will influence growth, build corporate sales, develop event and private dining offerings, seek new cooperation opportunities with local businesses and actors, explore take-away and event business opportunities, and contribute to marketing by creating content and producing photo/video material for social media. You will also ensure website relevance and restaurant visibility as part of this varied role. The position offers a permanent and responsible role with broad duties combining people leadership, guest service development, financial monitoring, sales growth, marketing, and new business opportunities.
