Lead internationally high-quality medical research and supervision of doctoral theses in cancer diseases: lead a research group, supervise theses and publish; teach in the medical licentiate and specialist training programs based on scientific research. The applicant is expected to pursue and develop their own research activity, secure external funding, actively participate in national and international collaboration, engage in societal interaction and influence, and strengthen educational cooperation between the faculty and the Pirkanmaa wellbeing services county. The duty includes a secondary post under the law governing social and health care, to be agreed with the wellbeing services county. Requirements include a doctoral degree, licentiate rights in oncology, ability to conduct independent scientific work, and teaching skills.
