Service Manager for Experience Services - Rukakeskus Oy - Kuusamo, Finland

**We are now seeking a Service Manager for experience services in Ruka** **Do you want to be part of building a new experience services business on Ruka fell?** We are looking for a Service Manager for experience services to be responsible for the operational activities, personnel, safety, and year-round development of our experience services. In this role, you will build operations together with the experience services and ski school team and significantly influence the future form of our experience service entity. As Service Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our customers receive safe, high-quality, and memorable experiences throughout the year. In the first season, we will operate electric snowmobile safaris, snowshoe and ice fishing trips, northern lights trips, and electric fatbike trips alongside the ski school experiences. Together, we will develop experiences, services, and products based on customer wishes and feedback. **Your Role** As Service Manager, you are responsible for the daily operational activities of experience services and the development of services in cooperation with the rest of the organization. **Key responsibilities include** - Managing the daily operational activities of experience services and ensuring smoothness through effective organization of resources, capacity, and schedules. - Ensuring the accuracy of booking information in various systems and maintaining product, price, and capacity data in booking systems. - Supervisory work and shift planning. Building a motivated, committed, and collaborative work community. - Ensuring customer experience and quality even during the busiest moments of the seasons. - Developing experience products and services. - Managing the safety of experience services. - Cooperation with other units and partners. **We expect from you** - Experience in tourism, program services, or experience services business. - Supervisory experience and the ability to lead and motivate staff in a seasonal environment. - Experience in service development and productization. - Good organizational and problem-solving skills. - Fluent skills in Finnish and English; other language skills are considered an advantage. - Ability to operate in a changing operating environment and develop new operating models. - Skills to adopt new digital systems, and experience using booking, shift planning, or ERP systems. - Good cooperation and relationship management skills. - Category B driver's license. **We also value** - Experience in an international operating environment. - Local knowledge of the Ruka area. - Expertise in guiding experience services or interest in training for new sports and program services as part of year-round operations. - Willingness to participate in practical guiding and instruction tasks when it supports the customer experience and operational smoothness. - Flexibility in a seasonal and variable work environment. - Commercial mindset and understanding of the efficient utilization of capacity and resources. **We offer you** - A versatile and responsible role at the heart of the tourism industry, where you can also develop your own expertise. - The opportunity to influence the development of services, operating methods, and the organization. - A professional and enthusiastic work community and support to succeed in your work. - Great hobby opportunities and staff benefits, especially regarding slope sports and physical activity. **Interested?** Send your application, CV, and salary request to us by August 10, 2026, at the latest.
