Test Engineer

This posting is for a testing expert at Insta’s Tampere Sarankulma campus, focusing on quality assurance tasks for defense and air defense leadership systems and situational awareness solutions. The role involves contributing to development projects in close collaboration with the Finnish Defence Forces as a strategic partner, ensuring the quality of information‑security‑critical products together with other testing specialists and the full development team. Responsibilities include drafting test plans for large systems, building detailed test cases, configuring software and communications links, creating training materials and conducting trainings, verifying integration from application/software level to system level, building and maintaining test environments, and performing testing with customers and end users as needed. The position requires on‑site work at Sarankulman campus with a strong emphasis on quality, reliability, and user‑centered design. You will work directly with customers regarding the product and its use, and be part of a culture that stresses quality and deep collaboration.
