If you are new to the field, we teach the job step by step. We work seriously but in a good atmosphere. We teach how to make pizza. You are expected to keep your word, take action and help a colleague even when busy. JOB IN A NUTSHELL * Restaurants: Tampere area at Tammela, Kyttälä, Sammonkatu, Teiskontie, Pispala, Tesoma and Lielahti; Pirkkala at Koulutie; Nokia at Nuijamiestentie and Välimäenkatu. * Employment: permanent. * Workload: 10–112.5 h / 3 weeks. Part-time, nearly full-time and full-time positions available. Exact minimum hours to be agreed based on restaurant needs and your availability. * Shifts: mornings, evenings, closing shifts, weekends and holidays. Greatest need on weekday evenings and weekends. * Start: as soon as possible or by agreement. * Salary: 12.21–13.58 €/h depending on experience. In addition, evening allowance 1.40 €/h, night allowance 2.37 €/h and Sunday/holiday work paid at 100% higher wage. * Driving license: B license is mandatory for home-delivery shifts. You may apply if you are currently taking the license and will obtain it soon. Please indicate the likely timing in your application. WHAT DO WE DO DURING A WORK SHIFT? Pizza artist role combines food preparation, customer service and restaurant operations. Depending on the shift: * serve customers at the counter and on the phone and handle online orders * pre-prepare ingredients and prepare and pack products according to instructions * ensure orders leave correctly and on time * take care of workstations, counters, hygiene and restaurant cleanliness * perform opening, closing and delivery tasks The rhythm of work varies. Sometimes we prepare more calmly, other times rush hours require speed, accuracy and teamwork. Work is mostly standing. Breaks are taken but timing may shift with customer flow. Closing shift ends when the restaurant closes and all closing tasks are done. In some shifts you work independently. When the order screen fills, we don’t cut corners or leave teammates behind. Everyone does everything. Even in busy times we keep quality, safety and honesty. WHAT KIND OF PERSON WINS WITH US? * you arrive to your shift on time and complete your responsibilities * you treat customers and colleagues well under pressure * you notice what needs to be done and take initiative * you are open to feedback and adjust your actions accordingly * you report mistakes immediately and help fix them. Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a clear plus but not a requirement. Skills learned at school, in hobbies, volunteer work or everyday life can also tell a lot about how you act. You must be able to serve customers in Finnish and understand work, hygiene and safety instructions. Perfect Finnish is not required. Hygienic certificate may be completed within an agreed timeframe.
