Visit the Atlas Copco website: https://www.atlascopco.com/fi-fi. Would you be the technical specialist we are looking for? We are looking for a technical specialist to strengthen Atlas Copco Compressors’ nationwide service organisation. As a technical specialist, you will work with compressor technology, compressed-air after-treatment equipment and related auxiliary devices, supporting service technicians, customers, dealers and partners in situations that require deeper-than-usual technical expertise. Your working days will consist of investigating technical problems, providing expert support and sharing knowledge. You will solve challenging fault situations, advise our service organisation and dealers, and also support the sales organisation. In addition, you will arrange technical training for technicians, dealers and customers and participate in support work related to the introduction of new products and solutions. You will be an important link between specialists working in the field and international factory experts, helping to ensure that our customers’ equipment and processes operate as efficiently as possible. Although much of the work is office-based, you will also visit customers when needed and support colleagues working in the field in practical situations. The role also involves travelling in Finland for a few days per month and occasional training trips in Europe. The position is permanent and full-time, and the employment contract is made directly with Atlas Copco. The work location will be determined by the selected person’s municipality of residence. The role does not require daily work at the Hakkila site in Vantaa. What do we hope for from you? Success in the role requires electrical expertise, which you may have gained through education and/or work experience, for example as an electrical and automation installer, electrical engineer or technician. Your background may be in electrical automation, industrial maintenance, troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems, or technical support. You may also have another suitable technical background, as long as you have technical understanding and an interest in industrial electrical systems. We especially value experience with frequency converters and industrial automation and fieldbus solutions, such as Modbus, Profibus, Profinet or EtherNet/IP. You can also interpret electrical diagrams and use them in troubleshooting. You do not need to know everything already, because strong technical fundamentals, genuine curiosity and an interest in developing your skills are most important. You will need fluent Finnish and English, as you will regularly use English with technical documentation and when communicating with, for example, international factory experts. The role also requires strong IT skills, a category B driving licence and the ability to use your own car for work travel. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about learning new things and approaches challenges with a solution-oriented attitude. You are comfortable interacting with different people, communicate clearly and genuinely want to help both customers and colleagues succeed in their work. We also value a planned approach to work, careful documentation and a desire to develop your skills continuously. Why join us? We offer a responsible specialist role at an international market-leading company, where you can work with a wide range of technologies, from traditional compressed-air solutions to solutions related to automation, remote monitoring, connectivity and energy efficiency. The work combines demanding technical problem-solving with the opportunity to continually explore new products, technologies and applications. You will receive comprehensive onboarding, and you will be supported by a capable technical support team and a broad international expert network. We offer compensation based on the requirements of the role and your experience level, a stable job and comprehensive employee benefits. We support our employees’ wellbeing through, among other things, extensive occupational healthcare, sports and culture benefits, a company bicycle benefit and comprehensive insurance, including extensive leisure-time accident insurance. Uniting curious minds Behind every innovative solution are people who work together to build the future. At Atlas Copco, careers are built on initiative, continuous learning and the opportunity to develop throughout your working life. We bring curious minds together, and you could be one of us. Interested? If this opportunity has caught your interest, we would definitely like to hear more about you. Please submit your application through the link as soon as possible, but no later than 4 November 2026. The role will start as soon as possible by agreement. We will begin interviews during the application period. The recruitment process is carried out in cooperation with Biisoni.
