Dental hygienist locum vacancies

This application enables year‑round expression of interest to work as a dental hygienist at all the West Uusimaa Welfare Region’s dental health units. Supervisors in the various units will contact applicants who have submitted their details when a need arises. An option exists to indicate that you would like to explore working at multiple municipal locations and clinics during your tenure, thereby seeing different work cultures and methods. The positions are fixed‑term locum roles of varying lengths. Interviews and recruitment take place year‑round, with the majority of work available in the summer period. The workplace name and address: all dental clinics of the West Uusimaa Welfare Region’s dental health in Espoo, Kirkkonummi, Lohja, Vihti, Karkkila, Inkoo, Siuntio, Raasepori, Hanko and Kauniainen. Working hours: according to the social welfare contract (SoTe). Primarily seeking full‑time substitutes, but occasional part‑time posts are available. Salary: 3171.04 – 3286.15 EUR/month. Requirements include licensure under the Health Care Professionals Act (559/1994) with the degree title “Dental Hygienist (AMK)”, total of 210 credits, duration 3.5 years, or an earlier college diploma (e.g. dental auxiliary, specialised dental nurse). Dental hygiene students may apply for temporary roles once their credit count exceeds 180. Fluency in one other official language (Finnish or Swedish) is expected. Vaccination protection under the Communicable Diseases Act is required. Random drug testing may be requested for successful applicants as part of the county’s drug program.
