Esperi Koti Symppis as a workplace Symppis provides round-the-clock supported housing and communal living for adults with intellectual disabilities. We have 13 places in supported housing and 10 communal-living places in a separate housing group. We are located in a pleasant, nature-oriented area about one kilometre from central Haukipudas, close to excellent outdoor opportunities. At Symppis, we invest in varied activities: we celebrate different themed occasions, holidays and birthdays with the residents. Guided activities, film sessions and games are organised in the activity room. Practical nurse work with us Here, practical nursing means accompanying residents in their everyday lives. During your shift, you ensure that residents’ needs are taken into account and that their day goes safely and according to their wishes. Your day may include helping with meals, doing activities and errands together with residents, and monitoring their well-being. The work is independent. We orient on-call employees to our unit and working practices so that coming to a shift feels comfortable and you know what is expected of you. Employment details We are looking for practical nurses for flexible gig work. We hope you can start as soon as possible! Gig work is based on a framework agreement that does not commit you to a specific number of hours. We offer shifts through the Temployer mobile app, where you confirm the shifts that suit you. Pay We follow the collective agreement for the private social services sector. The practical nurse’s role-specific starting wage is €15.29 per hour (pay class G20C). Possible experience supplements and shift-specific supplements under the collective agreement are paid on top of the role-specific basic wage. Gig workers are paid hourly, and wages are paid twice a month. What do we expect from you? - A practical nurse qualification. - A social and healthcare professional card. - Valid medication permits, a hygiene passport and vaccination protection under the Communicable Diseases Act. - At least functional basic Finnish language skills (B1); language proficiency must be demonstrated if required. Previous experience in similar duties is considered an advantage. We also ask to see a criminal record extract under the Criminal Records Act.
