Quality Systems Manager – Safeplast (part of the Caplugs group) We are Safeplast Oy, an customer company that has been part of the Caplugs group since 2022. Caplugs was founded in 1948 in Buffalo, New York, and manufactures mainly plastic protective products for multiple industries worldwide. Safeplast specializes in high-quality plastic spiral and specialty textile products primarily for the machine and equipment manufacturing sector. The role of Quality Systems Manager is to strengthen the quality management team. The position suits you if you have a background in process engineering and experience in extrusion manufacturing processes or other plastics industry experience is advantageous. Proficiency in English is required as you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Germany and Italy; other languages are considered an asset. Responsibilities include: - Maintaining and developing quality and environmental management systems according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and knowledge of or willingness to train in IATF 16949 - Conducting internal and external audits - Managing customer complaint processes - Root-cause analyses, CAPA tracking, and upkeep of continuous improvement processes - Monitoring legislation and implementing necessary actions when regulations change (e.g., REACH) - Ensuring product quality requirements, regulatory compliance, and necessary actions for implementation - Maintaining and preparing PPAP documentation for customers requiring it - Maintaining product documentation - Evaluating testing needs and organizing tests with internal or external partners when needed - Supplier evaluation, re-evaluation, and supplier audits What we expect from you: - Strong expertise in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 - Process engineering education or other applicable knowledge - Experience in extrusion manufacturing or other plastics industry experience is advantageous - Fluent English; other languages are a plus - Willingness to collaborate with international colleagues What we offer: - Salary range 3500–4000 euros/month depending on skills and experience - A responsible and diverse quality management role in an international environment Practical information: - Employment type: permanent - Location: West Tampere - Application deadline: 6 September 2026 If you are interested in this responsible quality expert role, please submit your application by 6 September 2026.
