Senior Solution Architect

Business and technology often speak different languages, but you can work fluently with both. We are now looking for an experienced Solution Architect. If this sounds like you, you may be the expert we are looking for: You are an experienced Solution Architect with at least eight years of experience. You work independently on client projects and trust your own expertise. You start from business needs: you find out what the client is really aiming to achieve and turn those objectives into functional, cost-effective and feasible solutions. You act as a bridge between management, business and development teams, and explain architecture choices so they are understood at executive-team level as well. You see the whole picture, identify dependencies and risks early, and can make well-founded choices between alternatives, whether a ready-made solution, custom development or a combination of the two. You can also share your expertise and best practices in an understandable and practical way. You may be looking for your next job or your next project as an entrepreneur. What expertise are we looking for - At least eight years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture or comparable roles - Experience identifying business needs and requirements and turning them into solutions - Experience comparing solution alternatives, for example from the perspectives of cost, risk, lifecycle and suppliers - Understanding of business processes and how information systems support them - Experience preparing roadmaps and architecture descriptions - Understanding of cloud services, integrations and information security as part of the overall solution - Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, and the ability to work independently on client projects - Experience with public-sector procurement and familiarity with the JHS 179 enterprise architecture method are considered advantages We value experience with methods and technologies such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, JHS 179, BPMN, UML, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, LeanIX and Sparx Enterprise Architect. We do not expect you to know every method and technology listed. If you have strong experience in business-driven solution architecture, we would be glad to hear from you.
