Leppäkorven School is a comprehensive school for grades 1-9, with about 850 students in the 2025-26 school year. About 80 adults work in the school community. The school is located in Korso along the main railway line with good transport links. We operate in a modern school building with up-to-date teaching equipment. Our goal is to be a pedagogically unified comprehensive school where learners of different ages meet and interact daily. We are looking for a foreign language teacher. Your work includes teaching languages and developing instruction in cooperation with other language teachers. We hope for a solution-oriented, development-positive, and student-centered approach. As a language teacher, you are responsible for teaching Swedish to grades 7-9 and German to one group. The work includes planning, assessment, and development of teaching, considering student support. Additionally, the work involves nurturing and guiding students and tasks related to the school's operational year, such as organizing theme days. The position includes acting as a class teacher for the 9th grade. We develop our school according to the ProKoulu operating model, which means common practices for the entire adult community to guide student behavior using positive feedback. We require the applicant to commit to educational work according to this model.
