Practical Nurse for Family Services in the Home

Would you like to do work where you can see change happening in a family’s everyday life? In the Southwest Finland region. Onni MedGroup’s family services for families with children support families where life happens: at home, between school and hobbies, and amid the challenges of daily life. We are now looking for a practical nurse to join our team, work alongside families and do work that truly matters. What is the work like? You will work with families in their homes and nearby surroundings. You will support parents with daily routines, interaction and coping. With children and young people, you will strengthen a safe everyday life and emotional skills. The work is independent, but you are not alone: an experienced team, regular work supervision and a manager who is genuinely available support you. Families are referred through wellbeing services counties, and the work is carried out with clear goals together with the family and social services. Some families may also have neurodevelopmental challenges. What we hope for from you You have a practical nurse qualification. A specialisation in children and young people or disability work is an advantage. You treat people with respect and remain calm even when everyday life is chaotic. Experience in family work, with neurodivergent clients or in child protection is a plus, but it is not a requirement. Your attitude and willingness to learn are what matter. You need a driving licence and the possibility of using your own car.
