Besides the 4 scrum teams developing the platform, there are a development support team and a maintenance team. This way the development teams can focus on delivering high quality solutions. Calypso is a central piece of Nordea’s trading lifecycle and supports settlement of bonds and equities. Our team’s main focus is on expanding business logic of Calypso and on surrounding microservices. You are fluent in English and have good interpersonal skills in dealing with technical and business stakeholders. And you are a fast learner, because we expect you to show a steep learning curve in becoming an expert of a large and complex software platform – supported by rich documentation from the vendor and supportive colleagues. Finally, you have a sense of humour and strive in multinational environment. Your background and skills include: - Experience of Java development in enterprise environment, ideally in a regulated business area - Commitment to achieve mastery in Nasdaq Calypso platform, including good understanding of business processes around settlement of securities (bonds, equities) - Understand how to define and design good test coverage including negative tests - Practical experience in using some of tools and technologies below – or similar: - Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift - Git, BitBucket, SonarQube, Splunk, Bamboo - Confluence, Jira - Experience or desire to learn to build and maintain integrations with off-the-shelf software in the enterprise setup It would be ideal if you also have a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
