We are looking for a permanently employed early childhood teacher to Maitorpantie day care starting 1 September 2026 or by agreement. The day care has four groups of children and operates in a peaceful Maitorpantie residential area. We actively use nearby playgrounds and regularly take forest trips. The day care’s facilities enable strong small-group work in accordance with our early childhood education plan. We participate in the ProVaka intervention model, which is based on guiding behavior with positive feedback. In the model, adults act as examples to children and the model supports inclusive operating environment and consistent guidance methods that value social skills. We offer a comprehensive orientation and opportunities to participate in a mentoring program. In our unit, two broad-scope early childhood teachers assist and support you especially on children’s support matters and work in groups according to their own schedules. Our unit’s development specialist supports cooperation with families. Your colleagues will support you; together we are stronger. For the teacher, a sak-day (team study day) is planned into every work schedule and, in addition, all teachers have a common sak time once a week during the day.
