Gender Programme Associate

Tiered Approach: UNDP UNCDF/UNV vacancies use a tiered application process with Tier 0–3 to manage eligibility and posting scope. Duties include providing technical support to integrate gender equality and GEDSI across program design, identification, formulation, and monitoring; supporting stakeholder engagement with women, persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples, and local communities; preparing gender analyses, action plans, and GEDSI measures; coordinating with environment and energy portfolios; ensuring gender considerations across project lifecycle; and contributing to capacity building and knowledge sharing. Availability to travel within the country is required. The role is part of a broader GEDSI integration effort in PNUD Ecuador and may involve other programmatic areas as needed.
