AWS Data Engineer

AWS Data Engineering Consultant | Knutsford (Hybrid) RED now has a new contract opportunity for an AWS Data Engineering Consultant to join one of our key partners on a strategic Cloud Data Platform & Analytics Programme. This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Knutsford, UK. Specific skills/experience required: Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EMR and DynamoDB Proven experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting enterprise-scale data pipelines Strong expertise in ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration solutions Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark or PySpark Experience reviewing code and resolving issues across distributed data processing environments Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation Strong understanding of data modelling, metadata management, data quality and cloud data architectures Experience supporting vector databases and AI-driven data solutions is highly desirable Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Candidates must be located in the UK.
