Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer needed for a 6+ month remote engagement focused on AI governance and the ServiceNow AI Control Tower. Location: Remote from Spain or Portugal. Language: English. Start ASAP. Duration: 6 months with potential extension. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end implementation and ongoing management of ServiceNow AI Control Tower; Design and implement governance processes for AI assets; Develop automated workflows for AI asset onboarding, risk assessment and lifecycle management; Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise platforms and external systems; Support AI governance, risk management and compliance initiatives; Work with business owners, risk and compliance teams and AI-focused stakeholders; Develop dashboards, reporting and evidence to support governance, audits and executive reporting; Mentor junior engineers. Key Requirements: 8+ years of ServiceNow platform engineering; strong app development and integration experience; Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules; experience with AI governance solutions; AI Act, GDPR, DORA knowledge; REST APIs; JavaScript, Python; Java, Bash, HTML; communication skills; Databricks, Collibra, Active Directory, CMDB advantageous. Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and ongoing management of ServiceNow AI Control Tower
- Design and implement governance processes for AI assets in line with regulatory and internal requirements
- Develop automated workflows for AI asset onboarding, risk assessment and lifecycle management
- Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise platforms and external systems
- Support AI governance, risk management and compliance initiatives
- Work with business owners, risk and compliance teams and AI-focused stakeholders
- Develop dashboards, reporting and evidence to support governance, audits and executive reporting
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 8+ years of ServiceNow platform engineering experience
- Strong experience in custom application development, scoped applications, integrations and platform management
- Strong expertise with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub and advanced scripting using JavaScript, Glide API and Business Rules
- Proven experience implementing or supporting AI governance solutions, ideally ServiceNow AI Control Tower or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of AI regulatory and compliance frameworks, including AI Act, GDPR and DORA
- Experience with workflow automation, risk management and AI/data asset lifecycle management
- Strong experience with REST APIs, web services and integration patterns
- Strong JavaScript experience, with Python experience for AI/ML and integrations
- Working knowledge of Java, Bash and HTML
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into business value and compliance outcomes
- Experience with platforms such as Databricks, Collibra, Active Directory and CMDB is advantageous
