Learn more about VTT tech and infrastructure. The accounting team provides timely, high-quality accounting and tax services to the VTT Group. The financial operations of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd have specific features: commercial activities and strategic research are separated, and different sources of funding bring different requirements for accounting, taxation and reporting. We are now seeking an Accounting Manager to join our skilled accounting team! Together with your team, you will be responsible for the VTT Group’s accounting and taxation. Key responsibilities: - Together with your team, you will handle external accounting for the VTT Group’s parent company and subsidiaries, period-end activities and preparation of financial statements. - You will be responsible for consolidating the Group’s financial statements. - Together with your team, you will handle Group taxation and tax returns, and advise the whole organisation on VAT and income-tax matters. - You will participate in coordinating audits and work closely with auditors. - You will contribute to developing financial administration information systems and various development projects. What we are looking for: - A broad understanding of financial administration processes and accounting. - Knowledge of group accounting and consolidated financial statements. - Expertise in VAT and income taxation. Knowledge of international tax treaties and withholding tax is an advantage. - Experience in supervisory roles and a track record of developing a team and its working practices. - Ability and willingness to collaborate, and clear communication with stakeholders. - A Master’s degree in business or equivalent education. - Excellent Finnish and fluent English. You are interested in the opportunities offered by automation, robotics and AI, and previous experience in these areas is an advantage. The systems we use are Oracle EBS, DataCycle360 (formerly Rondo R8), Kasperi fixed assets, Nomentia and M2. We hope you are open-minded and proactive and promote collaboration.
