About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our production team. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading your own production area. You will play an important role in ensuring that production runs safely, efficiently and according to agreed schedules. The role requires strong people leadership skills, a good understanding of industrial production and the ability to guide, support and develop different kinds of people in everyday work. You are present in the daily production environment, understand business needs and take an active role in solving problems, setting priorities and ensuring that production targets are met. Your Main Responsibilities Act as a supervisor for approximately 30–40 production employees Take responsibility of the production of your defined area Ensure that production plans are carried out according to schedule Plan detailed production loading and daily production priorities Manage production resources and ensure the right capacity for planned work Participate in the recruitment of new employees and coordinate onboarding Develop productivity, efficiency and lead times Prepare and maintain work instructions Maintain and develop quality and occupational safety Support employee development and identify training needs Apply Lean principles in daily production work Ensure delivery reliability Develop production together with the rest of the organization What We’re Looking For We expect you to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent knowledge and skills. An educational background in electrical engineering is considered an advantage. You have at least couple years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in an industrial or production environment. You understand production processes and have the ability to guide and supervise industrial assembly and manufacturing. You are able to manage schedules, prioritize work and require high-quality execution from the team in a fair and professional manner. You are comfortable being present on the production floor, listening to people, identifying issues early and ensuring that agreed actions are followed through. You have fluent Finnish and English language skills, both written and spoken. You have good organizational and communication skills and are able to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with an ERP system and Office 365 tools is required. Knowledge of the collective agreement in the technology industry is considered an advantage.
