About the role

We are looking for financial reporting and group accounting development professionals to join our growing Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) team in Helsinki. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in moving into a more project-driven, advisory-focused environment and is excited about developing financial reporting solutions in a more efficient way. We work with a wide range of clients from prominent start-ups to listed large-cap companies. The role provides opportunities for unique professional growth providing front-row seats to landmark transformations. Our team has extensive experience across a wide range of reporting matters, including financial reporting system development, various finance transformations, financial reporting process improvements as well as IFRS technical accounting, M&A and valuation services. What kind of role is it? We support our clients in financial reporting development initiatives of different scales. As an example supporting our clients in developing financial reporting through transformation projects such as reporting system implementations or in connection with M&A-related integrations or uplifting financial reporting to reach IPO readiness. In addition, we advise our clients with interpretation of IFRS Accounting Standards, including converting to IFRS reporting. We also contribute to capital markets transactions (IPO, M&A) as part of broader teams for example, by supporting our clients in the preparation of pro forma and carve-out financials or in connection with purchase price allocations. Your work may include: - Advising in consolidation and group reporting development, including development of reporting frameworks - Participating in finance transformation projects, such as implementation or optimization of consolidation and other reporting systems - Supporting clients in capital markets transactions such as IPOs and other M&A projects from a financial reporting perspective - Working alongside CFO organizations to improve the quality, efficiency, and processes of financial reporting The role combines technical expertise, advisory work, and project delivery, and offers exposure to a wide range of industries and clients. What skills and experience are we looking for? - Experience in group financial controlling and development of group reporting in a controlling role or as an advisor - Previous experience with consolidation systems such as HFM or OneStream is beneficial; key user / admin-level experience or implementation project experience is also an asset - Interest in data analytics / AI solutions and development of financial reporting - Understanding of technical group reporting topics, including preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS Accounting Standards - Project-oriented mindset with strong collaborative skills, client-centric approach, and excellent problem-solving capabilities in dynamic financial environments Interested?
