We are looking for experienced lawyers (Senior Associate/Counsel) to join our great team. Our office is centrally located in the Graniittitalo building in Kamppi, with excellent transport connections. We are looking particularly for expertise in our Real Estate and Dispute Resolution practices. Our Employment and CMA teams also need additional colleagues. We also value broad expertise extending across practice areas. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys varied work and wants to work closely with clients who are leaders in their fields. We have interesting, international and challenging assignments on an ongoing basis, and seek experienced lawyers to lead assignments, support our growth and strengthen our already skilled and enthusiastic teams. You will handle assignments independently and together with the rest of our team. For the Real Estate team, we are seeking expertise particularly in the practice’s varied contract work and transactions, as well as investigations and advisory work in real estate and energy law. We also assist clients in numerous dispute-resolution matters relating to real estate and construction. Typical assignments for the Dispute Resolution team include litigation and arbitration. We also assist clients with alternative dispute-resolution procedures and provide preventive and strategic advice in situations of disagreement. Typical assignments for the Commercial, Corporate and M&A team focus particularly on corporate arrangements and acquisitions, as well as contract and company law. Our Employment team handles a broad range of companies’ employment-law matters. For example, we assist with drafting employment contracts, termination of employment, change negotiations and employment-related disputes. We also answer clients’ day-to-day questions concerning employment law. Working across teams is an essential part of our approach. You will collaborate with experts in different areas of law and across practices. Most of our clients operate internationally, providing an excellent opportunity to use your language skills. Depending on your interests, we also offer the opportunity to build international networks and train to become a specialist in your field. The employment relationship is permanent and based at our Helsinki office. We offer the possibility of partial remote work, but expect you to be ready to work regularly at the office together with the rest of the team. The starting date can be agreed according to your situation, but we hope you can start as soon as possible. What do we expect from you? We hope you have genuine interest and enthusiasm for our core practices. Interest and experience in other practices are also considered an advantage. You will work closely with our teams in different Magnusson countries and with international law firms, so we value experience working with international projects and clients. You will also play an important role in supporting and guiding junior lawyers and trainees, helping them develop their expertise. To succeed in the role, you need: A Master of Laws degree. At least five years of post-graduation work experience in at least one of our core practice areas, for example at a law firm, legal office or in-house. Genuine and broad interest in international legal practice. Fluent spoken and written English and Finnish. Other language skills are considered an advantage. Experience using AI tools in legal work and willingness to develop their use as part of the team’s working practices. Strong interpersonal skills, courage to take responsibility, readiness to work as part of a team and a team-player attitude. What do we offer you? We offer a supportive working environment where we work together to achieve our goals. We have a close-knit team where colleagues support one another and work together. We invest in our employees’ wellbeing and professional development. You will work in an international environment and carry out varied tasks that support professional development. We offer comprehensive occupational healthcare as well as lunch, culture and sports benefits. We value good team spirit and a sense of community, and regularly organise enjoyable activities for the whole office. After-work gatherings, exercise sessions and other shared activities bring us together and create a relaxed, pleasant working atmosphere.
