Our client is a subcontracting company in the machine shop industry operating in Central Finland. It manufactures a wide range of machined metal parts and assemblies for industrial needs. In addition to machining, the company carries out welding, sheet-metal work and assembly. Your workday You will work as a CNC turner using a Mazak machine in varied machining tasks at a subcontracting machine shop. The parts vary according to customer orders, and production includes both individual parts and different product series. Your duties include operating the machine, setting it up, securing workpieces and programming, as well as measuring the parts being manufactured and ensuring their quality. You will work from technical drawings and can use your previous machining expertise. Accuracy, care and good machining skills are important. Work can begin as soon as a suitable person is found. We value * Previous CNC machining experience, especially turning * Experience setting up machines and securing workpieces * CNC programming skills * Good ability to read drawings and measurement skills * A precise, careful and self-starting approach * Commitment and interest in machining work * Readiness to work independently Previous experience with Mazak machines and Mazatrol controls is an advantage. The role requires practical machining experience and readiness to work independently, but a solid skills base and interest in developing your professional expertise are most important.
