The role would be to support HR activities (Financial, General HR and Administration) working closely with the HR Director. You will help ensure compliance with local employment laws, foster an inclusive and positive work environment, and support the coordination of a cohesive workforce. This is a broad, hands-on HR role offering strong opportunities for professional growth, involvement in global HR projects. The client works in the transport and logistics sector; you would be involved with international employees and international projects teams. Location: Antwerp, Belgium Salary: €3,500 - €4,500 per month Key Responsibilities Projects & Reporting: Participate in and lead international HR projects and provide monthly HR reporting Training & Development: Assist with engagement surveys, performance review cycles, and external training coordination Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate international recruitment, liaise with agencies, manage offers, onboarding and offboarding, and ensure compliance with local regulations Financial Processing: Coordinate incoming and outgoing invoices Employee Relations: Manage sickness processes (Netherlands), support employee engagement initiatives, prepare contracts, and coordinate personnel events and communications Compensation & Benefits: Support the monitoring and development of international compensation and benefits programs Policies & Compliance: Update HR policies to align with local laws and global standards Requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cultural awareness Discreet, reliable, and results-oriented with strong work ethics HBO or WO degree in Human Resources (preferred) Fluent in Dutch and English; other languages are beneficial (French, German), not essential Minimum 3 years’ HR Generalist experience (international experience is a plus) Basic knowledge of Dutch employment law; additional international knowledge is an advantage Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in MS Office; payroll system experience (e.g. ADP) is a plus What’s Offered Full-time position with an initial 1-year fixed-term contract Competitive salary and benefits package Pension scheme, travel reimbursement, and up to 28 days of holiday High-end laptop and mobile phone Opportunity to build an international HR career and gain exposure to global labour laws and best practices

Requirements
- HBO or WO degree in Human Resources (preferred)
- Fluent in Dutch and English; other languages are beneficial (French, German)

- Basic knowledge of Dutch employment law; additional international knowledge is an advantage
