Cashier for Christmas Helper

We are looking for cheerful, genuinely positive cashiers to join Tokmanni at Turku Länsikeskus to help with the Christmas season in the store. Duties focus on cash desk work and customer service at the till. The department side includes receiving and replenishing products, planning and carrying out merchandising, and maintaining store ambience. A key part of your job is helping customers who visit the store with various questions, and we also support each other when the team needs help. The position is a two-month fixed-term contract. Starts 1 November 2026 or as agreed, and the work time is 15 hours per week. You will also have the opportunity to take some of your hours at nearby stores. We will fill the position as soon as we find a suitable colleague, so act quickly! You may be the right person if you are of legal age and have: a friendly customer-service attitude, good interpersonal and cooperation skills and social tact, a desire to work in a mobile and fast-paced environment, a proactive and thorough work style, the ability to work varied shifts on weekdays and weekends, a pride in your professional skills and interest in developing them, ability to serve customers in Finnish; good English skills are a plus, previous Veikkaus experience is a plus. In cashier work, heavy products are lifted and moved with bending and reaching, so good physical condition and mobility are required. Commercial education and retail experience are a plus, but the most important is your positive attitude and genuine interest in retail and store work.
