Salesperson

Biltema Tampere is hiring cheerful part-time salespeople for the cafe wagon at the Tampere store, primarily working on the cafe wagon but occasionally on the shop floor. Employment is permanent, with hours for one position averaging 12 hours per week and for the other 18 hours per week. On the cafe wagon you will ensure excellent customer service, cash register operation, and preparation and attractive display of cafe wagon products. When working as a salesperson in the department store, your responsibilities include customer service both in-store and at the customer service desk, cash handling, unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness. We expect sales and customer service mindset, good interpersonal skills, being of legal age for the products we sell, willingness to work all shifts (morning, evening, and weekend), having a hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain one (employer provides regular hygiene training), and experience in retail customer service with cafe operations and cash handling is a plus. Finnish or Swedish language ability to serve customers in all service situations is required.
