Production Worker

Are you a careful worker who can keep both the big picture and the smallest details under control? We are looking for a production worker for our client in Salo for varied production duties. In this job, you will work with your hands, use different production machines and move smoothly from one task to another. If you are detail-oriented in just the right way, have good common sense and approach your work carefully, you may be the person we are looking for! What does the work involve? Our client makes various signs, including opening-hours signs. Production consists of varied made-to-order work where precision and careful workmanship are essential. Your duties include, for example: - Operating a large-format printer and managing production. - Making various smaller made-to-order products using other production machines. - Working with equipment such as a panel cutter, saw and laser. - Making products according to orders and the instructions provided. - Checking the quality of the work and its details. Workdays vary, and tasks and production runs are generally short. You will not have to repeat the same work stage for days on end; instead, you can make varied use of your skills. At the same time, it is important to manage several tasks in parallel and ensure that every detail is right. What do we expect from you? We are looking for someone who: - Is very precise, careful and able to concentrate. - Understands the overall picture and notices even small errors. - Uses common sense and takes initiative at work. - Can move smoothly from one task to another. - Is in good physical condition and ready for varied physical work. You need to be able to speak and understand Finnish flawlessly, as the work instructions and working language are Finnish. Good physical condition is needed because production work involves bending, reaching and sometimes working in rather confined spaces. Previous production experience and experience using different machines are an advantage, but the right attitude and willingness to learn matter most. And one more important quality: a sense of humour! The work requires precision and concentration, but a good attitude makes the workdays more enjoyable. What do we offer you? - Pay starting at €2,200/month, with increases as your experience and skills grow. - Employment begins with a one-year fixed-term contract, after which there is an opportunity to obtain permanent employment. - Varied production duties and the opportunity to learn new things. - Regular weekday working hours, 7:00–15:30. - Flexibility in the length of the workday when needed for larger orders. Production is closed around New Year and in July, when holidays are generally taken. The workplace is smoke-free. The Chemical Industry collective agreement for the plastics products industry applies. Interested?
