Systems Engineer in Requirements

Etteplan is an engineering company with more than 4,000 technology specialists. We work together with our customers to develop products and technical systems that are designed to function for a long time. We are now looking for someone with experience in systems work, requirements and verification, or systems safety, for Linköping. With us, you will work with complex systems, primarily in the defence industry, where availability, reliability and safety place high demands on the technical work. Your role You work closely with the customer’s engineering organisation and collaborate with systems engineers, designers, project managers and maintenance specialists, among others. You work with system requirements, function and safety. Your duties are shaped by your experience and the current assignment and may include: • Requirements analysis, requirements decomposition and traceability between requirements and technical solutions. • Planning and documenting verification, for example test specifications and reviews. • Risk and safety analyses, and formulating and following up safety requirements. • Preparing safety documentation and material for verification of safety requirements. Your profile You have experience in technical work in environments with high quality requirements and are used to documenting your analyses and conclusions. To succeed in the role, we expect you to have: • Technical higher education or equivalent relevant professional experience. • A few years of relevant experience in systems work, verification or systems safety. • Experience with technical analyses and structured documentation. • Good spoken and written Swedish and English. Experience from the defence, aviation, rail or automotive industries is an advantage, as is experience with requirements-management tools such as DOORS and with configuration and change management. You can explain your conclusions and turn them into material that others can continue working with. The position may require an approved security clearance under applicable security-protection regulations. Citizenship requirements may apply to some assignments.
