About the role

We are looking for an experienced Wellbeing Manager with a passion for promoting wellbeing as a foundation for sustainable performance. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of Wärtsilä Finland's work ability and wellbeing strategy, as well as related practices, partnering with key stakeholders to foster a healthy, engaged, and high-performing workforce. The preferred location for this position is Helsinki or Vaasa, Finland. We offer flexible hybrid working opportunities. About the position As a Wellbeing Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the future of work ability and wellbeing management at Wärtsilä Finland. You will lead the development of work ability practices and initiatives, taking an active role in their implementation and day-to-day execution. You will build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, coach and support managers, and use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help strengthen leadership capabilities, modernize ways of working, and promote a sustainable and proactive approach to employee wellbeing across the organization. You will be part of a supportive and dedicated local HR team in Finland. Your work will focus on these responsibilities: - Lead and continuously develop Wärtsilä Finland's work ability management practices and initiatives, while taking an active and hands-on role in their implementation - Own and lead collaboration with occupational healthcare providers, pension insurance companies, insurance partners, and other key external stakeholders in Finland, ensuring effective cooperation and follow-up - Collaborate closely with Health & Safety, employee representatives, HR colleagues, and business leaders to ensure a proactive approach to work ability management - Support and coach managers in work ability-related matters, strengthen their work ability leadership capabilities, and provide guidance in complex employee cases - Use relevant KPIs, data, and insights to identify improvement opportunities, translate findings into actions, and guide decision-making - Drive change and development initiatives that strengthen wellbeing, work ability, and organizational performance, while monitoring their effectiveness and driving continuous improvement - Promote and implement best practices in work ability management, including preventive actions, risk identification, and competence development across the organization - Foster a proactive and sustainable approach to employee wellbeing across Wärtsilä Finland To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have: - Proven track record in leading and developing work ability management, occupational health, or wellbeing initiatives, preferably in a large and complex organization with both blue-collar and white-collar employees - Master's degree in a relevant field - Strong capability to independently shape, drive, and develop your area of responsibility with a high degree of ownership and self-leadership - Experience in building and managing a broad network of internal and external stakeholders - Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actions and measurable results - Experience in coaching and supporting managers in work ability-related matters - Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and influencing skills - Strong expertise in change management and a track record of driving long-term development initiatives - Resourcefulness, resilience, and an innovative, solution-oriented approach to work - Fluency in Finnish and English, Swedish language skills are considered an advantage
