Qatar-Finland International School is a vibrant, warm, and truly international learning community for students aged 4 to 18. Operated by EduCluster Finland since 2014, the school is built on a strong partnership between Qatar and Finland, combining the excellence of the Finnish National Core Curriculum with meaningful local adaptations to the Qatari context. The language of instruction for all grade levels is English. The team of 85 international educators including 50 teachers from Finland works together to support every students holistic well-being and the development of the competencies they need for the future. Qatar-Finland International School is now looking for aSpanish Teacher (Primary and Middle School). Job description - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons to students - Adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of all learners - Develop relevant instructional materials, resources, and activities to support learning and teaching - Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning - Implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a respectful and disciplined atmosphere - Consult and cooperate with the schools counselling team to identify students academic, social, and emotional needs - Assess students progress regularly while maintaining open channels for constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance - Collaborate with special education needs teachers to support students with diverse learning requirements - Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding students academic progress, behaviour, and overall wellbeing - Organise and participate in Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences and other school-related events - Contribute to the development and implementation of the schools curriculum - Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on the best practices in teaching and educational advancements - Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adapt teaching methods to respect and celebrate the cultural diversity of students - Collaborate with other teachers, school staff, and administrators to create a collaborative and supportive school environment - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students attendance, grades, and other relevant information - Adhere to the professional code of ethics for educators, ensuring integrity, confidentiality, and ethical practices in teaching - All other duties allocated by ones supervisor
