Pediatric Emergency Physician

We are now looking for a physician to work in pediatric emergency care in Pori. What does work in pediatric emergency care involve? Terveystalo provides physician services for the joint emergency department in Pori and pediatric acute emergency care for the Satakunta wellbeing services county. Operations began on 1 June 2026, and we are looking for skilled physicians to strengthen our pediatric emergency team at Satasairaala. At Satasairaala’s pediatric emergency department, you will work with urgent conditions in children and young people that fall within primary care. Patients may have infections, minor injuries, abdominal pain, allergic symptoms, headaches and other health problems that require urgent assessment. You will examine patients, assess their need for care, and plan and provide treatment in cooperation with experienced nurses and the on-call pediatric specialist. You will be able to use your clinical expertise in a wide range of changing situations. The work is independent, but experienced healthcare staff and the on-call pediatric specialist are there to support you around the clock. Regular shifts are available on Mondays and Fridays from 15:00 to 22:00. The position is particularly suitable alongside clinic work, hospital work or other clinical work. The service is located at Satasairaala, Sairaalantie 3, 28500 Pori. Terveystalo also has other work opportunities in the Satakunta region. We provide physician services for Pori’s joint emergency department, where you would work as part of a multidisciplinary emergency team at Satasairaala. We also provide physician services for the urgent-care clinic in Rauma, which is open every day from 08:00 to 20:00, and for non-urgent appointments at the Rauma social and health centre, which operates on weekdays during office hours.
