A concrete placer, concrete finisher and related worker (Betonirakentaja ja raudoittaja), for example a cement worker (sementtimies), concrete reinforcer, reinforcement fitter, concrete worker (building construction) or concrete caster, erects reinforced concrete frames and structures, builds concrete formwork, reinforces concrete surfaces, and finishes and levels cement surfaces. The work includes building and repairing concrete floors and walls, tanks and silos, and building formwork or installing ready-made moulds. According to the Job Market Finland description of a reinforcement fitter (raudoittaja), workplaces include construction companies, and at upper secondary level one can take the vocational qualification in construction (talonrakentaja).
