We are seeking a temporary caregiver for Koivisto residential unit in Mäntsälä for Christmas and New Year 2026. Koivisto is a 21-bed, demanding, round-the-clock housing unit located in Mäntsälä near good transport connections and the train station. It is primarily intended for people with challenging needs related to autism spectrum disorders, mental health issues, or various psychosocial challenges. Care workers are part of the housing team within the social services. The勤務 hours are primarily three-shift work in a rotating schedule, though night shifts are not mandatory. Work is performed in residents’ homes with a focus on respecting individuality and shared home life. Residents require help with daily activities and participation in society. Responsibilities include supporting daily living activities and enabling client participation in community life. Primary contact person for tasks are the immediate supervisor and the on-site lead caregiver. Requirements include a social- and health-care sector basic qualification (practical nurse) or equivalent vocational qualification; students who have completed required studies may be considered. Additional requirements include ability to demonstrate medication administration and possession of a hygienic pass. The successful applicant will be expected to show initiative, commitment, client-centered approach, and to support independence, autonomy, and empowerment. The position is fixed-term (3 positions) for 23.11.2026–24.01.2027 with a monthly pay of 3071.42 EUR; additional pay based on experience. Benefits include immunization certificate and TB clearance where required by health law. The yes-to-be-interview process will require a criminal record extract.
