We are looking for a professional in early childhood education who values child-centered work, teamwork, good communication skills, and flexibility. We value an approach that supports development and a positive attitude. The vacancy is located at the Aappi early childhood education unit from the start of employment. We hope you can start work on 1 September. Interviews will be held on 26 August in Liminka. The eligibility criteria for a degree in early childhood education social work are defined by sections 26 or 27 and 75 of the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) with transitional provisions. The position can also be filled on a fixed-term basis if suitable applicants are not found. Before starting, the successful applicant must present a police background check for working with children in accordance with the Police Act (504/2002) section 3, not older than six months. The selected person must also provide a health statement before the expiry of the probation period. The trial period is six months. As a varhaiskasvatuksen sosionomi, you participate in planning, implementing and evaluating the care, education and upbringing of a child group. You reinforce participation and community in the child group. You also apply your social and health care professional skills to multidisciplinary collaboration related to social and health services and coordination of child and family services. The group works in small teams, observing and listening to children's needs and wishes. The starting point of activities is a warm, open and proactive interaction with the child. Everyday life includes a diverse range of activities in line with pedagogical goals, play, outdoor time, excursions and relaxed moments in basic care situations.
