We are looking for a dentist-chairside assistant for a full-time temporary position at our Oulu service point. The position begins on 1 October 2026 or by agreement and lasts until 23 April 2027. In student health care we offer oral health services, including health guidance and visits and also examination and treatment of the mouth and teeth. Our goal is to embed regular oral health examinations into students’ daily life and support independent self-care and, with our help, alleviate potential dental fear. Our chairside assistants support dentists in procedures and perform independent reception work according to the treatment plan prepared by the dentist. Responsibilities include evaluating care needs, service guidance, counseling, appointment scheduling, and instrument sterilization. Our work reflects a preventive approach to health. Your supervisor is the head of the oral health service. You will collaborate with dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses and service clerks. We use Acute and WinHit for patient records and BeeHealth’s YTHSDigi as a digital transactions platform. Why work with us? The job’s base salary is determined by task group with possible special elements; we also pay a personal pay component including an annual retention bonus up to 11% of the base.
