Förskollärare

We are seeking a preschool teacher for Lauttasaari Daycare. The teacher will lead the pedagogical development of their group (14 children aged 4–5) in alignment with the Helsinki early childhood education and pre-primary education plan and the unit’s plan, supporting individual learning. The unit emphasizes play, peer skills, sensitive interaction with children, and community-guided operation with staff. Requirements include a valid qualification under the Finnish Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) or a transitional provision; a Bachelor of Education or equivalent, or prior teacher training. Excellent Finnish language skills are required. A background check is required. A 2000 euro sign-on bonus is offered for permanent employment in 2026.
