Päiväkoti Ankkuri is a bilingual early childhood education unit with three sections, as well as Swedish- and Finnish-language preschool groups. The daycare has new multi-purpose facilities and an enthusiastic, professional staff. It is located near the sea and archipelago nature. As an assistant director, you will work as an early childhood education teacher in a children’s group, provide pedagogical support to other staff members, and handle administrative tasks. The role requires initiative, flexibility, and leadership skills. If you are familiar with the software used in our daycare, such as Päikky and Maxtech, that’s great! However, knowledge of these programs is not mandatory, as we will provide the necessary support and training. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop into a strong expert in early childhood education. The salary and other employment conditions are according to UKTA. The appointment has a six-month probation period. The candidate must present a criminal record extract and a medical certificate of health before starting. Since the position is in the bilingual Päiväkoti Ankkuri, proficiency in Finnish or Swedish as a native or equivalent, and good oral and written skills in the other national language are required.
