The Forestry Center is an active developer of forest sector development projects. Through development projects we promote sustainable use of forests, business activity and biodiversity. The Kainuu project communicates up-to-date information on forest and nature management, forest ownership to forest owners and remote owners as well as to forestry actors through webinars, events and field trips around Kainuu and by enabling topics to be studied via electronic channels and by networking with actors. The project aims to promote the favorable development of Kainuu's productive forests, vitality and biodiversity, and to advance new methods of nature and forest management and the development of forest ownership structures. These actions support the Green Transition and adaptation to climate change. The project is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the area is Kainuu. The project will be implemented in collaboration with a team of forest and nature management and project experts. We are seeking a Project Specialist whose duties include tasks of forest and nature management expert.
