We are looking for an Electrical Engineer of Rail Systems to strengthen our growing team. In this role, you will work on electrical design tasks related to railway electrification and rail systems. You will be responsible for the design of electrical and earthing designing solutions and related design documentation as part of various rail projects. You will work closely with experts from other engineering disciplines and project organisations. In Finland, you will be part of our Systems unit, which brings together a strong and committed group of rail industry professionals. In this role, you will play an important part in developing and delivering electrical engineering design solutions as part of the Finnish Rail Electrical team and Ramboll’s international rail business. As an Electrical Engineer of Rail Systems, you are responsible for: design and dimension electrical systems, power supply, earthing and equipotential bonding solutions for railway systems as part of various rail projects prepare electrical, earthing and equipotential bonding plans, as well as other technical design documentation, and contribute to the development of technical solutions throughout the different stages of projects design and coordinate railway electrical system solutions and their interfaces with other disciplines, such as railway electrification, signalling, telecommunications and track design actively develop processes, methods and expertise in railway electrical design, while strengthening the role of electrical systems design as part of the Rail Electrical team and Ramboll’s international Global Rail business Your office location can be any Ramboll office in Finland, and remote work is also possible.
