We are looking for a special education teacher for the demanding support special class from 1.8.2026 to 31.7.2027. Students are directed to the class city-wide. The class has 8 students with disabilities, illnesses, or functional limitations. The curriculum can be based on general or restricted syllabi. Students need full-time instruction from a special class teacher. Laakavuoren elementary school in East Helsinki is a diverse local school where everyone is different but equal. There are about 250 students and six small groups for special support. A preparatory education group started in autumn 2024. We participate in the integration-promoting 'Welcome Families' activity.
