We are hiring sterile services technicians for permanent positions at Meilahti Sterile Services Centre. The work is in three shifts from Monday to Sunday. Starting dates are 1 September 2026 or 1 October 2026, or by agreement. At the centre, we service instruments for multiple specialties, including transplantation surgery and orthopedics. Infection control is a key part of our operations. Tasks include maintenance of instruments and devices used in patient examinations and treatments. The instruments to be maintained are high-demand surgical theatre instruments. We work in five different teams and each team has its own key clients and support from a service supervisor. What we expect from you: customer-focused and proactive with good interaction and teamwork; you have completed a sterile services qualification; you understand that work is multidisciplinary and patient safety comes first; you are ready to work in three shifts including nights and weekends. We also value a calm attitude in a rapidly changing environment. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Good Finnish language skills are essential as we read and interpret many written instructions and are responsible for following them independently. Qualifications: sterile services qualification; language requirements including Finnish well spoken and written; vaccination against infectious diseases per the Communicable Diseases Act and health status verification for healthcare settings. Salary: pay is according to the SOTE collective agreement. The base pay is 2777.91 €/month, with potential experience and other allowances.
