A psychologist or neuropsychologist works as part of the Oma Väylä rehabilitation multidisciplinary team. The role involves interviewing, guiding, and advising clients, and participating in delivering rehabilitation tailored to each client’s situation and rehabilitation needs. You will participate in at least one of the client’s initial individual sessions. Your tasks include assessing the client’s cognitive and psychological functioning, suitability, and motivation for Oma Väylä rehabilitation. The first individual session with the client is conducted in person. You must be prepared to meet the client in person whenever their situation or rehabilitation needs require it. At Savas, you work as part of a multidisciplinary team; the team plans and implements the client’s rehabilitation together and shares responsibility for progress toward the client’s goals. The job is hourly and suitable to combine with other work or your own practice. The workload depends on the number of Oma Väylä clients and individual rehabilitation needs.
